N.B.
All Xbox 360 portals are labelled on the back as such.
All 3DS portals will work on any game - with the exception of Swap Force, which will ask for it's own portal.
All wireless portals apart from Spyro's Adventure's (generation 1), are compatible across all systems other systems (excluding
Xbox 360 and Xbox One portals).
Portals for most systems are often backwards compatible, however, leaving more up to date features on a newer portal, when playing an older
game may cause a crash (e.g. leaving a trap in the Trap Team portal when using that portal to start up Spyro's Adventure).
Portals can sometimes be forwards compatible (specifically Spyro's adventure portals work for the Giants game, and most 3DS portals are full
compatible -as mentioned above-) however, there is often a loss of speed when using the older portals. For the best results place your characters
near the edge of the portal as this reduces what is believed to be loss of gain in the antenna suffered by using an older portal.
Portals are not region specific, so any portal from any area of the globe will work on any system, but the games from last
generation (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii & 3DS) are and thus must be from the same region as your console (USA, EU or Asia).

The poor old wizard was even more surprised seconds later, when Wrecking Ball proceeded to swallow him whole. Eventually he ran, quite literally, into the powerful Portal Master Eon, who was... |
